Arlington, Va - Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is one of six vendors chosen by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to compete on task orders for facility operations and maintenance projects valued up to $400 million over five years.

As the integrator of Siemens' comprehensive portfolio of smart infrastructure solutions for federal customers - from building automation to energy-efficient HVAC systems and more - SGT provides federal agencies with a streamlined procurement and implementation path for improving operational efficiency, reliability, and cost-savings at mission-critical facilities. SGT is the only U.S.-based entity of Siemens with a Top-Secret level facility security clearance and SCI eligibility, meeting a key requirement for task orders under the terms of the indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.

SGT will be considered for work on projects spanning HVAC systems, cooling towers, condensers, chillers, boilers, electric utility distribution systems, fire alarms, and associated suppression systems.

"We look forward to serving the FBI through this contract across a broad range of support services we are uniquely qualified to provide," said John Ustica, president & CEO, Siemens Government Technologies. "From operational efficiencies to enhanced comfort in their workspaces, we'll help FBI teams better connect the energy systems and buildings they rely on for fulfilling their vital missions of national consequence."
